2010 - Present

2010 A Town sanctioned Tourism/Beautification Committee became very active, organizing the first annual 'Caring For Colton Day' in May.
The first Pirate Invasion was held on Higley Flow.  Boats flying Pirate Flags become fair game for water balloons and water cannon.
St. Paul's Church in South Colton was closed after 110 years of service.

2011
Heavy snow melt and spring rains combine to produce the worst flooding in the Town's history.
