THE VIRGINIA SMITH OUTSTANDING CITIZEN AWARD

Presented by the Colton Winterfest Committee to a resident who has provided outstanding service to the town of Colton community.

The annual Citizen of the Year Award honors a town resident who is an active volunteer and who exemplifies the adage ‘neighbors caring for neighbors.’ Each year nominations for the award given during Winterfest are received by the chair of the Winterfest Planning Committee in lead up to the festival.
Award recipients, listed below, are identified on a plaque in the Board Room of the Colton Town Hall. And the presentation made during the annual Winterfest event about the most recent recipient's contributions is posted on the dropdown as made available.
