The Tourism & Beautification Committee seeks to foster a sustainable approach to tourism and beautification by integrating environmental, social and economic benefits for visitors and residents alike.  This is accomplished by:
--Embracing community's heritage and character;
--Promoting the community all seasons of the year;
--Creating recreational and educational experiences;
--Enhancing community pride; and
--Caring for the community's natural and physical assets.
Volunteers help achieve these goals by working with town officials and partners responsible for the community's natural and physical assets.  As we work on trails and do our work in partnership with others we advocate Leave No Trace principles.

Tourism & Beautification Committee's Annual Work Plan is posted when submitted to the Town Board.  Click HERE for the 2019 Work Plan.  Tourism destination planning is a new project being pursued with the help of the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce to guide the community through the completion of the Tourism Destination Area Workbook developed by the North Country Regional Economic Development Council.  Click HERE to read and download the 34-page workbook.
