TRANSFER STATION USAGE IS FOR TOWN OF COLTON + SOUTH COLTON ​RESIDENTS ONLY!
TRANSFER STATION OPERATION HOURS ARE EVERY
WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY   |   8AM-5PM

​stay updated on changes.
New to the Town of Colton?: In order to utilize the Transfer Station, the property owner must obtain a "Dump Sticker" from the Town Hall. Stop by during business hours with your proof of residency (deed) and have your drivers license with you.

Residents of Colton - Water Bill

The Water District only applies to some residents of Colton, depending on the location of their property.
   Water bills are distributed quarterly, based on the usage and assessed value of the home. 
   Payments can be made via cash, money order, or check, made payable to Colton W&S.
   ​Payments may be dropped off via the Town Hall's drop box, Town Clerk's Office during business hours, or mailed
      to 94 Main Street Colton, NY 13625.

How does DPW support the Town of Colton?

DPW is responsible for all Town Buildings and maintenance, Water Treatment Plant, Water/Sewer Plant, and Transfer Station. 

Their upkeep of our community includes repairs, lawn care, and oversight of public places such as the Community Center and Ice Rink.
