Be Advised: Next installment or full payments are due by April 30.
**If no payment has yet been made, only full payments are accepted - no installments.
Payments are due to the Clerk's Office drop box, in person, online or to be postmarked
​by March 31, 2026 to avoid penalty.

Land Tax Collector
January 01 - May 31 of each year the Clerk's Office can receive payment for Colton land tax payments. 

Any payments made after May 31 will need to be paid at the St. Lawrence County Clerk's Office in Canton.

1st Installments must be made by January 31 in order to be established in installment billing.

If no payment is made by January 31 the tax payment will automatically be due in lump sum.

Note: School tax payments made in the fall must be submitted to:
Community Bank Potsdam, NY, ATTN: Tonya Fisher.
No school tax payments are able to be accepted at the Town of Colton Town Clerk's Office.
