STONE VALLEY / LENNY ROAD MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL SYSTEM (5 LOOPS):
The St. Lawrence County Mountain Bike Association has opened a system of five trail loops for mountain biking off Lenny Road on St. Lawrence County Forest Land near the town's transfer station. In October 2015 a kiosk with map was installed at the main trailhead off Lenny Road and the trail loops were marked. Click HERE to open the map for downloading and printing. ADIRONDACK 102 CLUB / PASSPORT & GUIDE:
The Town of Colton is one of the 102 towns & villages in the new passport & guide to places in the Adirondacks written by Marty Podskoch to encourage people to 'get off the beaten path' while exploring the Adirondacks. Town Historian and Librarian Dennis Eickhoff has copies of the book available to purchase for just $20 each at Colton Hepburn Library on Main Street. The Colton pages in the book (pages 196-197) can be stamped at the Library, Town Hall, White's General Store and in the Museum when open during the summer or by appointment.
