Chair of Winterfest Planning Committee
Phone: 315-262-2439

The Winterfest Planning Committee is chaired by a Town Board member and includes representatives of the town's Tourism & Beautification Committee, Colton-Pierrepont Central School and many organizations plus individuals who  work together to plan the overall festival and organize specific activities during the multi-day weekend festival held annually during the last full weekend in January.  Planning typically begins in September/October and the committee is open to anyone who wants to be involved.  The committee also seeks sponsors for activities so funds raised can benefit the Local Neighborhood Center serving Colton, Pierrepont and Parishville.

SCHEDULE:  The schedule for the town's 2020 Winterfest is available HERE.  We very much appreciate all those who are organizing, hosting, and supporting activities and events leading up to, during, and after Winterfest.

CITIZEN OF THE YEAR:  A feature of Winterfest every year is the announcement of the town's Citizen of the Year.  On January 23, 2020 the award was presented to Lorraine Gowing during the Spaghetti Dinner.  Click HERE to review the presentation made.
